Online medicine orders: prescription flow Stemo actually enforces

Team Stemo · 2 September 2026 · 1 min read

Stemo is software. It is not a pharmacy, wholesaler or marketplace. The shop remains the licensed retailer. This page describes the product controls — it is not legal advice.

What happens on an order

  1. The customer attaches a photo or PDF of the prescription.
  2. The order sits in Rx Orders until a pharmacist recorded for that store reviews it.
  3. Schedule H1 asks for the prescribing doctor's name before dispatch.
  4. Schedule X is not listed for online sale.

We do not issue drug licences. We do not replace a pharmacist. Shop owners still need a valid retail licence and their own reading of the Drugs and Cosmetics rules.
